TR6 TR-6 vacuum connections for Weber MCHH carbs

Hello to all.

I am just finishing the engine re-build on the '74 TR-6 that my wife purchased back in 1976. I'm installing the new Weber Dual MCHH kit and noticed there are no vacuum advance connections on the carbs.

This leaves me wondering where to connect the vacuum line from the distributor. The only available place is the emission valve on the head.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Tim

Most of the time a purely mechanical advance distributor is needed with side draft webers as they do not have any vacuum ports (as you discovered).

You might contact Jeff at Advanced Distributors and see if he has some ideas.
