Just got a new enamel grill badge from BPNW. The quality is great, and the price was much less than I've seen before. I have attached a couple of pics of the old sticker and the new enamel badge. Hope they come thru. What a difference!

Do these attach to the smooth badges on the later TR6's or is it a complete one piece badge like on the earlier Tr6's?

the earlier ones were cloisone whatever that is . The later is something different. Never did find out what as i have an earlier car

When I bought the car, it had the front badge assembly from TRF with the sticker on it. The base already had the mounting holes for the enamel badge. I removed the sticker and attached the enamel badge to the existing chrome base. I thought all of the cars had the chrome base. Here's before and after showing the bases. Much less expensive from BPNW.

Cloisonne is the process of melting glass into the metal background, usually associated with jewlery inlays.

The early TR-6 badges were cloisonne and were relatively cheap at the time to do. Now that it has become specialized work its pricy.

But, not everyone can melt class into the recesses of a chrome emblem these days.

IMHO the glass badges are the best looking.

Too bad my '71 has the sticker rear badge (and that TRF gets more than a hundo per badge...).

The glass "TRIUMPH" badges are VERY cool indeed!
