What he said. Also a good way to see what condition your mounts are in -- when I did the shimming on the TR3 the stress tore one motor mount apart as I raised the engine. Of course a sound motor mount would deflect w/o a problem -- that one was likely shot but looked okay since it had the weight of the engine holding it together.
