I'll be putting a period radio and console in the 3A. Does anyone have a clever idea for mounting the antenna without having to drill any holes in the body?
Ive got an e type coupe with a cheap rubber antenna stuffed under the passenger seat. I was going to buy one of those hidden FM antennas but was suprised how well the rubber one works without drilling holes in the body.
I had the same issue in my MGA.
I found an antenna (on ebaymotors )that mounts to the windshield with a black box that measures about 4 inches long and is power assisted with a 12 volt hook up. It does seem to work pretty good.
