Is it larger than 11 inches?

The reason I ask: Our friends at MOSS Motors have new brake calipers for 3Bs and 4s, for less than the price of rebuilding them...

I'm unaware the rotor size changed from 3As to 3Bs; I know the drum size changed in the rears, midway on the 3As...
 
The rotor size change (from 11" to 10Âľ") came along during early TR4 production. Sorry, I do not know what would be involved in mounting the late (type C) caliper to an earlier car.

By 'less that price of rebuilding' - do you mean less than the price of pistons & seals?
 
The mounting plate also changed when the rotors did. I'm not positive offhand, but I think the hole centers moved, so you have to use the mount that matches the caliper. Someone, I forget who offhand, said they were able to trim the early rotors down just a bit and use the later calipers with the later mounts.
 
The TR4 mounts are larger in size than the TR 3 mounts. On the TR3 that I am presently building I am using the TR 4 front brakes. You need the matching mounts ,disc and calipers.
