TR 3 Rear steel brake line routing

Has anyone documented - with photos - how the rear steel brake lines should be routed on a TR 3 ?
I am just finishing rebuilding the rear brakes and axle bearings and leaf spring assemblies and I can not find any decent photos in Haynes or the rebuilders guide of the tubing routing.
My original lines were tattered and rusted and were awful.
Even some verbal advice will be appreciated.
Thanks

Mine's up on the lift so I can take a couple of picture if you need. Tell me what you want shots of and I can take them tomorrow for you.

I need the connections of the tube where it joins the wheel cylinder and how it routes over the axle somehow.
Does the tube travel along the forward edge of the axle after it humps over? How does it clear the spring?

On the other ends I have the Tee connection installed but I was wondering where the tube lays as it gets near the Tee.

Any photos will be appreciated.

You can send them to me offline. My email addy is in my profile.

Thanks

I included a couple of pictures of my 4A brake routing, while different, gives you the general idea of how the 3A is routed. The difference is that the 3A lines route in front of the axle (on mine anyway - which may or may not be original from '58) and on the 4A they route behind the axle tubes. You get the idea.

This shows the right side rear line behind the axle tube

This shows the left side rear line next to leaf spring

Now as the line routes through the axle limiting strap (not sure if I would do it this way though)

Eventually, my 3A will look as good as the 4A does now ... eventually.

I'd swear that on my old TR3A...TS74011L...that the wheel cylinders fittings were to the rear of the backing plate. I DO know that the lines ran across the back of the cover like in this nice picture...I replaced the lines and also had to remove them once when I replaced the R&P gears.

The "nice" picture is my TR4A and the cylinders flipped to the front after the TR4. I know cuz I originally had the backing plates reversed because I followe the TR4 shop manual instead of the 4A. I had to take the whole dang thing apart and reverse them.

Also notice the date is flipped in the top picture and the breather is on the wrong side because I flipped the pic.
Pic has been unflipped and reposted.

Here is the routing on the TR3A we finished last June (TS 81551 L). It's done exactly like I did mine (TS 27489 LO) in 1987 to 1990 and I did that one exactly as it was originally.

I recently did this job too, (my first major TR3 project) and for me the only difficult part was the first tubing bend at the rear wheel cylinder. It is a real tight 90 degree bend to clear the leaf spring.

I guess Don's pix proved my memory is pretty short...

Thanks guys,
However-I am still a bit confused (but somehow you knew that).
Don's rear shot of the diff helps me understand the inner terminations. I am still a bit uncertain where the tubes go when they exit the wheel cylinder.
Do they make a sharp bend up and then over the axle tube and continue over the axle tube to the front portion of the tube - then travel inward along the forward part of the axle tube for a ways and then route back over the top of the axle all the way to the rear of the axle until they show up in Don's photo?
Thanks again.

Here are some photos I took when I did mine in 1988.

Thanks - I can see clearly how it is suppose to go.
I admire you for taking the time and energy to take the photos and to keep track of them.
Your workmanship looks lovely.
Thanks
