TR 3 Hood Stay Rod

I bought this off Ebay and it was listed has a TR3 Hood Stay Rod It is almost 40" long and the attachment plate look's wrong.Can someone help identify this and tell me how long a TR3 rod should be.

Looks home-made to me. Bracket might even fit; maybe someone liked the hood open farther?
 
Greg, my prop rod runs 32 inches....

Thanks fellows. I been had again on Ebay. Alfa33047 [Bill Close] is going to look for one for me. What a great guy!

They are also available new from TRF. P/N 602096 is the assembly including the prop rod, bracket and safety catch. If your rod is missing, it's a safe bet the bracket is broken (common problem).
