I am bidding on E-BAY for a A/C setup. I was wondering if I am bidding against one of us on the forum. I don't want to up the bid if it is one of us.

I confirm that it isn't me! I still have a surrey top to install that's been sitting in the shipping crate for a year!

Lost it for $177.00 plus $50 for shipping. I should get the 250 running and on the road then add the A/C (for my Wife) I don't know what they would really coast, but I think that $177 was a good deal!

Dan -

These guys aren't cheap, but they have good stuff, and great support.

Thanks Mickey!
I think that is the way to go.
Make the Wife happy!!

on another note, the AC air vent boxes attach to the dash there for adding about 2 inches to the bottom, something to consider as it does limit already limited access.

Here's the unit installed in my BGT. Don't know how much room you have in the TR, or how high up you can mount it, but it wasn't bad at all in the GT.

There was a time when I thought A/C in a classic british sportscar was simply blasphemy, soft, adding complexity and weight while taking away power.

But now that I am becoming older, softer, with more weight and less power, their seems to be a certain symmetry to fitting A/C to my car, I was not bidding on the unit, but have been taking the idea more seriously lately, we have a handful of cars in our club retrofitted with A/C has been over 100 here for 3-4 days straight, driving a car, even a convertible, with no A/C is no fun.
