TR2/3/3A TR-2 Hardtop Hardware

I am planning on restoring a TR-2 hardtop that has some rust issues. I know I can get a window from Macy's but need all the rest of the mounting hardware.
Does anyone have any surplus hardware they bwould consider selling?

Have you checked on ebay or the Triumph classified on this site or the other Triumph site? TRF does a great side screen rebuild service. Make sure they fit good before you send them off.
They come up from time to time.

many of the parts can be easily made eg the nut bridges under the capping are just bent flat bar with a nut welded in the middle

i and sure dimmers and moss do the after market parts as well.

the real specialist parts are the 3 brackets at the top the screen
and the chrome cap covers 5 of 2 sizes around the back.

this was mine ( non standard finish)

i had to move my racing roll bar but after that it wasn't toooooooo difficult
as usual lots of measuring and offering up the top for location, slacken off the front screen mountings to help AND fit your side screens as they all come into play at the same time.

rubber parts ( non specific ie don't look for tr2/3 hardtop rubbers ) are available here if you get stuck

If your pockets are deep, TRF has the hard top fitting kit with all the hardware. Part # HT1. Price is about $355.

I should have added that $355 seems to be a sale price and expires Jan 31, the list price is $418.94.
Also, Moss sells the kit (801-530) for $315, but are on back order. The also list the front brackets separately for $36.99 each.

The cant rails are unobtainium.
I think there was someone in the Uk that had a few sets made a few years ago

Did you contact Moss to see if all of the brackets are included in the kit, as the description of the kit states "parts 19-31? Maybe some of the parts aren't available individually, but are included in the kit. For $315 it should be complete.

They really aren’t that technical
Bent metal, welded nut and a tapped plate to fix under the car body.
then the capping sits on top ( you drill this - it should be trimmed Ali.
Then you fit the chrome cap covers.

I got in contact with SCpartsco.uk They have a fiberglass top identical to the steel one that comes with all the fitting hardware and window.
