TR-2, Engine and Tranny Out!

Just an update on TS7433L progress. My brother in law and I bought an engine lift (140.00 from Harbor Freight). Pulled the engine out by itself, after seeing that the engine was still hooked to the transmission via the support rod from the clutch slave cylinder! It's on an engine stand, and the transmission is over at British Auto. I've decided to trade it in for a rebuilt A type overdrive with a 1st synchro. It will be the only modification from exactly original, but I figured I might as well get the most enjoyment out of driving it.

Plus, nobody but y'all will know..ha!

Thanks, /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif

Keep your wrench away from that head, Mark. I KNOW what you are gonna do next!

Now we've got twins!
Listen to Bill, that engine will probably give you many seasons of dependable service just the way it sits. Make it look pretty and put it back in.

Just back away from that motor! Ha! I've removed the water pump, and manifolds today. The front extension and pully come off next, so I can replace the front seal. I'm NOT going to take this engine apart, at least thats what I'm saying now.....
