TR-06 body dimensions

I HAVE A TR-06 IN MY SHOP THAT AFTER MEDIA BLASTING THE METAL WAS IN BAD SHAPE. THE AMOUNT OF RUST DAMAGE SCARED THE OWNER OF THIS CAR AWAY FROM ATTEMPTING TO DO THE WORK HIMSELF. WE HAVE CUT OUT AND REPLACED SEVERAL BODY PARTS TO DAMAGED TO REPAIR. WE ARE NOW WORKING ON TWO PROBLEM AREAS THAT I AM HOPING TO RECEIVE HELP WITH. THE FIRST PROBLEM IS THE FRONT VALANCE PANEL. THE SECOND IS THE OUTER SILL OR OUTER ROCKER. WE HAVE THE PROBLEM OF MOVEMENT OF THESE PARTS. WE COULD PUSH OR PULL AND THEN WELD . THAT WOULD BE WELDING IN THE BLIND AND WE DO NOT DO THAT KIND OF WORK. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT THE MEASUREMENTS ARE BETWEEN THE DOOR SILLS AND THE FRONT FENDERS. IF WE HAVE THE PROPER MEASUREMENTS THEN WE CAN WELD THESE TWO AREAS AND START THE BODY WORK. ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Dimensions are going to be hard to come by. The best advice I can give is to put the tub on the frame, then use the fenders and doors to provide panel component alignment references.

:iagree: with the above.... good advice
