I have never had a recall sent out on my 2009 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner till today. I have the 5000lb towing package with factory hitch installed. There is an addendum label inside the door jamb that notifies the owner that because the hitch assembly weights 34lbs, the towing capacity is diminished to 4966lbs. Today, the recall department sent a corrected label that instructed me to paste it over the old label. They added one (1) more pound to be subtracted from my towing capacity. Go figure.
