Toyota Wiper Blade Inserts - Cheaper Option

California is having its share of rain this year - thank goodness - and my Toyota was in badly need of new wipers. I was thinking aftermarket wipers, but decided to try the local dealership since I was driving in that direction. Parts person suggested wiper blade inserts - just the rubber - since I still had the OEM wipers on the car. These were $10 each as opposed to the whole wiper blade / frame assembly which cost $30. The wipers were simple to install and working flawlessly in the imperfect California rain.

Also their oil filter was $6/ each and cheaper than my Amazon source Try the dealership parts option next time, it might save you some $$.

One of my biggest complaints. Why throw away the whole arm,
when you just need the blade?
I bought a set for my Dakota a short while back - $44.00!

I did similarly with the Midget, bought a long blade and cut it in three

Used to pinch one of the Old Man's Anco refills and could make three replacements for the MGB.
