Towing an XJ6

I am towing an XJ6 about 60 miles with a tow dolly and an wondering if there will be any issues or concerns. I've used this dolly to tow MG's with ease. It's a Master Tow dolly and I am using my Expedition. The car's wheels are free but I am unsure if I should disconnect anything before I go or can I just hitch it up & go.

If you could PM me I'd appreciate it.

Thanks
Vince

Put the rear wheels on the dolly. Even with the automatic set in neutral, the driveshaft motors some of the transmission internals. If you put the front wheels on the dolly, you are speed limited to about 35 mph MAXIMUM so as not to damage the automatic transmission. Another choice is to disconnect the rear flange of the drive shaft and secure the loose end to one side with a wire or rope.

I might do the drive shaft thing and take her easy or try and hook up with a friend that has a flatbed.
