Tow Dolly vs. Flatbed Trailer

Tony, you're right. Mark bought a trailer on Tuesday and he's already moved a bunch a bunch of stuff to storage, and we're headin' up to the mountains this weekend for a little vacation w/the kids, and we'll bring home our Christmas tree on the trailer (no more trying to get it on top of the Sequoia!)

When I went to pick up the '74 gt, my friend drove his SUV and we rented a uhaul trailer. He never backed one up but he had no more than 1 foot total clearance to get down the PO's driveway. Like a surgeon he was. Perfect. I did however have to use a few come-a-long's to get her up on the trailer.

I rented a UHaul trailer once,to haul behind our Ford Aerostar. That thing seemed like it weighed about 3000 Lbs.!
If you use a trailer very often - buy one.But if you only use it about once a year or so - rent it.
They take up a lot of room while empty,& are ugly to look at (at least by the neighbor's standards.
