Tourist Trophy Exhaust on Healey Bj8

I am installing a Tourist Trophy Stainless exhaust system purchased from Moss Motors on my Bj8. Great hardware, but zero instructions. Does it make any difference which end of the main mufflers are installed facing forward?

That's a dang good question. I have never seen a tourist trophy exhaust up close so i don't know. Do both ends look exactly the same. Considering that I have had the same mild steel exhaust system on my Healey for about 18 years I haven't looked at the ends in awhile except when I did the complete restoration 3 or 4 years ago. It seems I didn't have any problem identifying which end was up front when I put it back on. But I really can't remember.

Vette helped me walk a little way out of the fog of stupid. Both ends of the muffler looked the same, but when I put a caliper on them the O.D. were 2" one end and 1 7/8 on the other. I assembled the system on the floor, and the big end goes forward. Thanks Vette.
