Total Tr3 rebuild up-date

Im pleased to announce that the engine rebuild for my tr3 is finally done after today. It's time to start pulling the old engine and cleaning up the actual car.
Things left to do: Pull engine, clean interior/exterior, paint(It's still pink), and then drop the new engine in. Note, picture is not finished engine.

Pink? There's a photo hanging in my garage (1987 TRA group shot) with a pink TR3. Since that pic was taken in Ohio I wonder if it is the same one?

<span style="font-style: italic">Edit -- Okay, I just read your introductory post and see that it is indeed the same car and the photo includes much of the Richards' family. Great to see an strong TRadition continue!

Welcome to the club Brad. I haven't seen the pink picture, but I'm glad to see such a young member. Several of us on this forum have already graduated from high school.

Thanks for the support! I just had my first roving wrench and we pulled the old engine and removed the appliances to start cleaning and painting.
Before we pulled the engine I took a few photos for the fun of it.

Yes indeed, the same TR that my mom used to drive is the one I'm restoring. Its staying in the family and I will hopefully be taking it to nationals depending on how fast I can paint the car and put it together again.
