Putting the 1936 Plymouth to the "test of truth". (Frankly, I think the opening title shot is so gruesome, I wonder how many folks stayed to watch the rest of the film! Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries, victim chained to a post while crazed cretins apply the red hot irons and gouge out a few eyeballs ... )

Car seems to do ok tho'.

 
"Lucky Teter" did pretty well without a helmet. Very amusing.

My first car was 1 '35 Plymouth, and to the best of my recollection, it rode just like the '36 above.
 
Makes one wonder how well a modern Chrysler product would do under the same conditions. Probably not as well.
 
Pretty impressive. I doubt any new car would do as well in those conditions.
