ok the torqure settings??

I got the head back on. sat down with my hand hanes manual read through the reasembly recomendations all fairly strait forward.
but at the end they say tighten the nuts down to their aproprate setting but it donsent say what those are..ahhhhhhh

in other news I thing the machine shop still has my thermostat housing @#$%$^@

46 foot pounds will work nice on a 1970 1275 engine.
That's about 62 Newton meters.

My friend Diana is in Norway right now. She was just in Lillehammer and I believe she is in the Moelv/Gaupen/Myøsa area this week.
 
Plains studs are 42
Studs marked with "22" or drill point should be 50
 
its a 1275 out of a 1972

ok so the nine big ones do at 50
and the little thin that hold the valves on at 42

thanks I have to get this thing past EU inspectin by friday

no, only the head studs- the small studs are 25 and not related to head torque
