Torque Setting for Lugs?

I just bought a set of Superlite 13x5.5s and was wondering what setting I should use to torque the lugs?

Thanks

I just did a quick Google and came up with:

Wheel Nut/Bolt Torque Setting

3/8”UNF. = 35 ft. pounds 7/16”UNF. = 50 ft. pounds 1/2”UNF = 60 ft. pounds
10x1.25mm. = 35 ft. pounds 10x1.5mm. = 35 ft. pounds 12x1.25mm. = 60 ft. pounds

12x1.5mm. = 60 ft. pounds 14x1.5mm. = 75 ft. pounds 16x1.5mm. = 90 ft. pounds

Use a 3/8 drive ratchet and tighten them up tight. Don't use a 1/2 drive ratchet or you will snap them off :wink: I'm not a torque wrench person when it comes to wheels. There is a reason that original lug wrench was so short. I used to warn people about this on the minis and they would still snap them off. Most lugs are 1/2 inch or 7/16, these are 3/8 and easy to snap off and hard to find locally.

Yea that was a two click google, we need a better challenge that that!

Thanks everyone. Really appreciate the help.

The original BMC Workshop Manual advises 37 to 39 lb. ft. at the end of Section N.3. Doug
