torque for hub extension nuts?

I am wondering if there is a specification for how tight the nuts on the rear hub extensions should be. Can't find it in the shop manual. Sliding the rear axle (full assembled with diff./brakes) was great fun yesterday with no assistance. Thank goodness for touch up paint.

Some use as little as 60 or 70ft-lbs. I torque mine to 100ft-lbs--with anti-seize--because that's the recommended torque for the lug nuts on my 'modern' cars, and these are essentially lug nuts.

I also reuse the nuts--at least until they get too rounded-off--which is anathema to many. I've put over 100K miles on my BJ8 with no hub problems.
