The annual Canadian Classic was held last weekend, including a track day at Shannonville, about 140 miles east of Toronto, a pub night that evening, a cruise on Friday round Wolfe Island in the St Lawrence river reached by ferry across Lake Ontario, and a car show on Saturday in Kingston.
I took about 2 hrs to watch the North American Shark Championships, (a Shark is a 24 foot sloop, a popular race class) from the Kingston Yacht Club.
About 65 cars attended, including 11 TR3/a, a dozen assorted wedges, 8 Spitfires, 5 TR4/a and the usual large group of TR6s.
I was happy the new blue Spit survived without problems, did 900 kms (about 562 miles) over the weekend. I attribute this to taking tools with me as insurance!
