I guess everybody knows that Triumph is the featured marque at this year's show. Pictorial coverage is scarce but in a short clip last nite on TV I saw Tush's beautiful white TR6 on display on the floor. Must be quite an honor to have your TR on display for over 300,000 visitors. Congratulations Tush!

Hi Bob,

Yes, thanks. We have 44 Triumphs on display for the over 350 000 people that attend this show. I have to say that it is an awesome display with some fantastic and rare cars on display including 2 Italias, A Gloria, A GTR Dove, 1948 Roadster, Standard 10s etc etc.

I will try and post some pics over the next couple of days when I get a chance to download the photos.

For anyone near Toronto, the show continues until next Sunday.

I see that the event organizers were smart enough to lay plastic down on the floor everywhere before they parked the cars.

Would you tell Llewellyn that it looks like the side lights are "ON" (yellow TR7 Penny Lane" which might explain why his battery went dead.

Brilliant display Guys. How lucky am I to have a business meeting in Toronto this week. Thanks for everyone's hospitality.
I had trouble going to the hotel for a 6:00 am flight back to Florida this morning. Closed the place down with a big smile, still drooling!

Glad that you enjoyed the show!

Cheers,
Tush

Great job Tush. Excellent tour!
Triumph - Glory Still Exists :thankyousign:

Some gorgeous Triumphs up around Toronto! And very nice setup with cars - did the club design everything? Congrats Tush!

Fantastic collection of cars. I would love to see the maroon tr3 with tan interior that was pictured in the group of tr3s. Does it belong to anybody on the forum?

Hi Randy,

Yes, the Club started planning this a year ago. We were invited to attend the show last year by the Auto Show Execs to have a look at last years display done by the Classic Camaro and Firebird Club. It gave us an idea of what to expect and have a look at the layout. Before we agreed to go ahead with the show, we polled our membership to get some feedback to make sure that this is something that they would support. It is a pretty large space to fill (over 70 000 square feet) and we wanted to have a good commitment of members who would be willing to display their cars. Some were not interested as you can imagine the logistics of getting a car to Downtown Toronto in the middle of winter could be challenging. Those of us who were selected to be in the show had to change up out winter storage routines a little bit to fit the show in. We had a few gaps in our display as we didn't have any local Club members that own Italia's or Glorias or GTR Doves so we needed to bring these in from south of the border. We have made some new American friends who brought up a total of 8 cars from as far as North Carolina (where the 4 Standard 10's came from) and we are fortunate that they were able to join us.

I am working back at the show over the next couple of days. It ends on Sunday night at 6 PM but we will be moving cars out and back to their homes until Tuesday at Midnight. I am going to try and take a few more pics and some video before then.

Cheers,
David
