Top Tank Leak

If there is a small leak from the bottom side edge of the top tank of a Healey 3000 radiator towards the engine side has anyone repaired it without taking the radiator off the car, or is that strictly a job for the radiator shop? The radiator top tank dried up due to the car being not used for a long time.

You can possibly slow or stop the link, likely only temporarily, with some JB Weld or similar epoxy. But, if you're going to actually drive your car much you should take it to a radiator shop (and have them install an uprated core while you're at it).
