There seem to be a number of options out there... Just wondering if anyone here has recommendations for type/supplier.

Thanks!

Thanks Andrew. The price of the tops vary so much that it makes the decision a little more difficult.

Bought a Robbins on sale at Roadster Factory a few years back and installed it in a little over 2 1/2 hrs. Looked good and was very accurate in fit.

I installed a Crown some years ago, and while it's shot now, it held up for a number of years quite well.

Honestly, I don't think I've ever seen a top on a Spitfire that stood out as bad, or remarkably good. I'm not sure there's that much difference between them quality wise.

This recommendation is probably 20 years out of date, but I bought a top from J.C. Whitney that went on great. The paperwork that came in the box said it was "Made in the USA by Key." I have no idea if they are even in business anymore.

I've got to replace my 1500's top this summer too. I've been closing rips with duct tape all winter, so I'm overdue.

I've been Googling around, and I see that it was a "Kee" top. Oops.

Has anyone bought a Prestige top from England? They've got a mighty attractive price on eBay.

PO put a Robbins top on mine and I love it. I did have to seal the front seam though.

I have a Robbins top I bought on sale from TRF years ago for <$200. I still have not installed it.

You may want to check out the Kee tops. They are close to me. THe owner of Grassroots Motorsports had one installed on his son's Spitfire. They liked it.
