Will a 67-69 8 tennax top fit a 75 that has been converted to 8 tennax?

I am also looking for a link to a zip out rear window for my midget- any one have a link?

I think BillM just ordered a top with zip out window, he said where he got it but I'm having trouble remembering - it was an ebay seller but he bought it direct.

Depending on the year of your Midget.
Here is one, not sure if this is where BillM got his though.

Only issue with Zip Out Window is fit. Top on Bugsy is pulled tight, tight , tight but rear window still sort of saggy. It does not fit drum tight even though the rest of the top is. Not sure if it is because it is cut to allow space for zipper or what. Something to consider.

Mine is tight, but I didn't get it from those guys.
I'm sure it's a case where ymmv.

I guess what i am asking is are the shape of the hole the top covers on a 67 to 69 tubs any different than the 70 and up ones? I can add the tennax to a later model- but i was just trying to save the work.

It's not a whole lot of extra work to convert to an 8-Tenax. Most of the replacement tops don't have the hardware installed anyway; they come with 6 loose Tenaxes, just re-use 2 of your Tenaxes from your old top when you're installing 'em. I didn't make my new top into an 8, but I thought about it -- turns out fresh Velcro makes a world of difference.

(My top was from LBC Car Co. online, just 'cuz they were on sale at the time.)

I think the back window sitting a bit slack is to keep the strain off the zipper. My top is tight, and the stress is carried around the window, but not to the window itself. It's not floppy, but not drum-tight like the old one was either. If it was too tight, working the zip would be a chore; and once the zipper pops, it's done. I'd rather have it fit nice and easy through there.
