I'm looking for a new top latch, and since Moss, The Roadster Factory, and Victoria British don't make the part, I thought I'd post here. When I got the car, the driver's side handle the latches the roof in my 6 would just come off, because it didn't have a screw. i found out today that it did, but the head was broken off, and the rest of the screw was still inside, keeping me from putting a new one. I tried drilling it out, which was working great, until the freakin' bit broke off inside, and now that won't come out. Any ideas on where to get this part? I've attached some [bad] pictures of it. This piece goes into the top of the windshield to hold the top down.

Seems crazy that all the big players in the LBC parts game wouldn't stock something that gets as much use/abuse as a convertible top latch..

If this isn't what you need you might try a junkyard your boss uses - gotta be something used out there which'll work - be sure you pack your WD40 and a hand impact driver set when you go alookin'
