The new series of Top Gear aired tonight in the UK with an excellent piece on the 50th anniversary of the E-type.

There was also a segment on Mini rally cars; the originals and the new one.

Well it has been taken down. A brillant TG tribute to the XKE.
 
Saw it, and liked it. Found it to be humorous how James May was thoroughly enjoying the sequential shift transmission in the new Mini racer.
 
Just finished watching the one where they drive the Mercedes,the Ferrari,(Oxford Comma)and the 911 from NC to NY.
 
Was it the Merc SLS?

I'm not sure, but that VIR looked like my kind of vacationing place :laugh:
 
Sweet hotel.
What really made the VIR interesting as I new what the track would do from someone posting their race there.
