Top Frame Powdercoat?

Hello all,

I am working on the top frame on my BJ8, and have everything disassembled as far as I can go without removing any rivets. I have gotten everything fairly straight, and its time for sandblasting and paint.

Has anyone had this assembly powder coated before? were there any issues with the pivot points in the assembly? or was that successfully mitigated? how?

Thank you for any help!!

I didn't powdercoat mine and it still looks great. Spraybombs were fine.

Had mine power coated too. They look great and much more durable in power coat.

Just make sure you show them how it looks when it's in the upright full open position. So that when you pick it up, all the areas you see when in the open position are covered in paint. One of those, oh I should pointed that out to you, huh, stories.

Good luck!

Thanks all, and for the tip on showing the guy how it sits when deployed. Sounds too good to be true! I'll drop it off monday and hope for the best.
