Does anyone know the difference between the top frame assembly for the MArk II and the MArk III? I'm taking the rollbar off a Mark II and need the old frame assembly. Moss lists 2 with a large difference in price. Ebay has one for the Mark III for a reasonable price, but I don't know if it will fit.

be careful who you get your top assembly from.
I ordered one from a guy out of Hemmings and he
sent me the wrong top. I sent it back and he sent
me one that was broken.I ate the shipping both
ways for both of them. Still don't have my money
back. I finally ordered one from Moss. I hope this one fits.(I have a 61 BT7Mkll).Unfortunately
None of my books show the top frame,and there aren't any other BT7's around here.I'm sick of put
ting the hard top on and off.The car came with the
soft top but no frame,the guy lost it somewhere.

I should have added that it is a Sprite Mark II. I'm trying to avoid buying a new frame. There is a guy on ebay selling parts off a 63 Sprite and he wants $50. We'll see.
