I know that on TR4 the clips (613767) are standard. I recently saw a TR4A that had these installed. My TR4A has the pieces on the windshield frame to accept the clip from the top but I need to know if I should have them or not. I would also like to confirm that what I saw is the proper design, Rimmer Bros sells a replacement but it only uses a single rivet as apposed to two rivets like is shown in the parts manual and the car I saw.

My 4A had them on the original top. Here's a shot of the clips that I've not installed on the replacement.

My TR4A top had them but they were a little different design. It was a separate strap that snapped on the top side and included some elastic material on the windshield clip side. I seem to recall this was an Amco top but it was also back in the early 80s.

I've got 4 of those and am thinking 2 of them were attached to the B post with the same tiny tab, you might look. Can't get to my car right now.
