The weather was nice so I met some guys over in Lafayette for a car-aficionado breakfast. A little cool out but the rebuilt heater works well. The group was mostly muscle car guys but there was a really sweet Bugeye there. (He wants to sell it if anybody is interested. Has a 5-speed and the larger engine transplant. Very nice car.)

I went home and mowed the lawn for the last time for the season.

Making blackeye peas, whipped taters and spiced pork roast for supper. (My wife can't boil water without scorching it.) Anybody hungry for some good Southern vittles?

LSU is in trouble and Miles going to Michigan.

Raked & blew all the leaves, bagged them, cut the yard for last time this year.....beautiful, warm weather.

Got ice?

Sunny with a wonderfully warm 10°F today

I put in a backyard full of sod today. Curses SoCal.

mmmmm black-eye peas.

Shoveled out the garage though I'm sure the plow guy will have it buried again before the night is over. Nothing like removing a foot of snow only to find 3 feet hard packed up against the door in the morning.

had to work..... I'm doing saturdays so I can keep up with the electric and gas bills that come after weather like today. (topped out at 22F, flurries a blowin in the howling wind)
Hey Dale, how much you rent out your spare room for? hehehe

I remember growing up in San Diego. Some people actually poured concrete in their front yards and paint it green.

Glad to see that things have improved.

Stewart - its hard to remember you're in snow up to your elbows up in the Dakotas when I look over at your avatar & see sunny Caifornia as your location!!

Neither could be further from the truth!

See, told ya!! Congrats!!

Thanks. The list is an extremely valuable tool as a checklist to make sure all is in order before firing up. I've got more to do but, it's dark. I'm posting a video in another thread as soon as youtube finishes downloading them.
