My 68 OTS has sat in the garage all summer. Finally took the initiative to uncover it and take it out for a drive today since its was nice outside. Battery was still up, I tapped on carb bowls before I cranked over to make sure none of them were sticking. Cranked over twice and fired right up. She coughed a little during the first gear changes but took off nicely as I wound it up. Took it to 80mph and said good enough. I should drive it more often!

No question in my mind that these things are a lot more fun when they are moving. The farther & faster, the better. I was fortunate to be able to participate in two long cruises this fall, one for 11 days and another for 5.
