All of my cars are convertibles, and it's almost a waste in the summer. If I drive to work I'll put the top down in the morning, then it's A/C the rest of the day.

October/November can't come fast enough.

Alas, I know exactly what you mean. 90 degrees in Washington DC, and I wouldn't even think of taking out any of the older British cars. Not that they'd overheat -- they all run nice and cool, with the exception of the Tiger, that is. On days like today, I even leave the Lotus at home. It's a/c is no doubt powered by an anemic mouse running on a broken wheel. So, I hop into the Jeep Liberty. Its a/c is so strong, you could hang meat in it.

Its tough.

Mid-50s here, but at least we've the rain to cool us off.... :jester:

He beat me to it...

I haven't even been using the A/C in my Acura. Roll down the windows, and open the sunroof. Makes for a really nice breeze at 70 mph down the interstate. It's only the beginning of July. What are y'all gonna do in august and september?

That's why I have a Miata to go with the MGB. The A/C on the Miata is ice cold.

I'm sorry I'm getting soft here in Dallas the Sprite only goes out early in the morning and after sundown. Its been 90 plus for far to long no end in site.
the temp gauge on the dash is at a depressing 100 before I start the car latly ugggh.

Yes, but you are part lizard.
For the rest of us ~warm blooded~ humans, however...

Actually anyone remember V?
Jumped into my mind for some reason.

Oh and I did drive my car today - took it up to Boston and back. It was far more pleasant going up at 6am than at coming back at 4pm.

I took the TR3B out today around 1 pm and did a few stops in the near 90 temps with high humidity. Each stop made me want to hang out inside for a while, but it was fun to be able to push the car a bit more today than in the past. Fagin keeps seeming to become more dependable. :driving:

Warm day here the mountains -- liner under the motorcycle jacket on the way to work for the cool morning, didn't need it on the (much hotter) way home. Took the long way around too. After the long cold winter I can't get enough of the heat.

Yet another reason I wouldn't live there, and one of the top reasons I want to move north.

I hate the heat, always have, but everybody's different. Myself - I really don't understand the whiners that bellyache every time the temps drop below 70. Or worse, 80. Are jackets that difficult to put on?

Hot here too today. Must have been pert near 79. Almost to hot for the top down!

Scott, You're just....

...just...

...you're a MAINAH!! A Maineiac!! :jester:

Dale, that's IT!! You've figured out what's keeping Amos garage bound!! Amos is a cold weather car and can't function in the heat!

Shirley and I have over 7,000 top-down-miles with our TR6 in the last year. We consider it top down weather any time day or night that it is not raining and the temp is 50F or more. We do make some exceptions in colder weather but not often.
