SIGH.............just so dang expensive!
Body shop owner told me this morning that he was going to pay to replace mine since his employee damaged it beyond repair (I didn't think it was damaged when I took the car over but wouldn't have been able to say how it got damaged had he not just told me - he said he figured it could be repaired with the normal chroming repairs but since it can't, he's willing to do so)...said as soon as he saw it, he fired the guy (I'd wondered where the guy was!)....I can't charge him for a beautifully rechromed one as mine needed chroming.....I found an old one that needs chroming in California today for $350 plus shipping so at least I know how much to charge him.
