Tony why aren't you bidding on this car?

Cool.

Because I didn't know about it...& with 5 days left my $7,000 bid was quickly trumped....that thing will go $30,000 or more I'd bet!

Chuck...I'm still calling "dibs" on picking this one up!

It should go higher than that if it's going to beat the reserve. I would expect 50-60K if in restored condition. Kinda hard to tell from the single photo.

Tell ya what, chuck...since I've bid on it, why don't you act as my agent & check it out, take it for a spin, etc.?

no way Rick It's closer to me

Now, now, chuck....you're not going to breach etiquite by not honouring "first dibs" just because of simple geographical locale, are you?!?!

then you pick it up and Ill help you load it, how's that? and Tony, you find out where it is and I'll go look at it, just as soon as the ice storm stops. or you come look and I'll get you a great deal on a hotel

Chuck....you didn't read the fine print...I called "dibs" on picking it up....didn't say where I was going to unload it!

sb over $30,

$50 is too high IMHO

If some one is seriously interested they should contact Lew Palmer or Bob Clare.

If you do not have their numbers let me know and I can put you in touch.

Nice car, J2 is one of my favourites, they look better with cycle wings I think.

/bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/iagree.gif Cycle Fenders are available from J. Gilbert in the UK for about 270 pounds a set.

A little over 4 days left in the auction & the '33 J2 is already over $10,000...1/3 of the way to where I said it'd sell!

& 4 hours later its at $20,000!

Note the wooden spoke auto wheel against the wall in the pic.

I told wife about $25 or so. Maybe I was low.
