Tony here the pics

imageshack.us works for me... but you don't get an album there, just free image hosting. You'll have to keep the direct links to the images handy, but that's not too difficult if you post them to a message board right away.

Down for Maintenance
Blogger is temporarily unavailable due to planned maintenance.
This downtime will last 30 minutes from 4pm - 4:30pm (PST).

If it does not work soon ,ill make a photobucket or something for it.

To put all that manual choke in your carb, Keenan, you've got to first remove all the auto choke stuff....that thing in the last photo has to replace the stuff in the other photos...that might be why the black insulator won't fit - its designed for the manual choke

What do I need to take off, and leave on?

Wait for your partner to come back...he'll do it in 5 minutes

I just thought I could try as much as I can before he gets back. To make it easier.

And you should Keenan. If you think you can get it done, tackle it!

But what do I take off and put back on.

I you can not deside from visual inspection I would suggest you wait for your bud as well. A lot of this comes with experience, some by training, and most by breaking something or doing it wrong. I don't think you want to break anything at this point.

You especially don't want to break the carb....look at your manual carb kit then your carb....it should be evident what has to go...if not, wait.

True, but I just want to help out and doe some of the main stuff. I discounted and pulled the engine by myself. Ryan and i put it back in, but I feel I can do more.

Just don't force anything & keep everything you take off in a zip lock bag

And it's important that you feel like you're doing something, I don't blame you. I felt that way when I was taking off rivets and making gaskets out of cork for the SUs.

Surely someone can tell you how to go about taking the stuff off without actually standing there looking at the car.

well, first you put on some swanky music... then, typically, you'll start by undoing the top button an... what?

While your waiting, Take off the headlight buckets, sand 'em down, and put a nice coat or 2 of black paint on 'em - lol - you can show 'em off by having everyone bend over and look up under the fenders.
