Tonneau Cover

So, any of you with rollbars want to send me your useless tonneau cover?
 
all I have to say is I took the top completelly off the Midget & use the tonneau-it's split so I wrap it in the rain. 2 gorilla's and 6 body builders couldn't have fastened the top anyway and graceful exits have already been discussed. I bought a really nice used tonneau but I had to have a new zipper put down the middle($15.00) versus the $$$$$$$$4 wanted by Moss & British Victoria! Keep it stored where u can kind of keep the leather pliable & check the zippers-they deteriorate,
 
I'm hoping for a cheap or free used one, to use as a pattern. I would like to make a Union Jack for one.
 
Sorry, but !!! Miata DID offer a factory tonneau cover. When I bought mine new in 1992 it came with a split front tonneau just like my MG's. Unlike the MG it wasn't free but it was an optional extra, NOT after market. Bob
 
Last spring, a friend of mine GAVE me a next to new Tonneau cover and a top cover for free. His father got them with his B when he bought it new in the 70's, but never used them. Since I only had the GT at the time, with no intentions of buying another one, I sold both of them to a fellow on the MGBE for a couple hundred bucks.
Kicking myself now when I see what used ones in OK shape are going for on Ebay.
HEY.. If the fellow I sold them to reads this... I will buy them back for the same $$$$ /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Well if the engine runs and starts up and the master is not bad I wont sell it, I'm the Clutch Master is bad I might.
