I know where there's a complete TR6 engine.
The owner implied that it was free.
Would you like me to check on it?

Doug, if Norton47 doesn't claim it, I'd be interested. I'd have to drive up to Eureka to get it (5hrs) but it sounds interesting. Hard to beat "free".

Let me get ahold of the owner, then I'll go down the
list,if Norton 47 changes his mind.
I went by the guy's shop - doors wide open, but noone around. He also has an interesting "mini" junk yard -

I saw a couple of Fiat 1500 convertibles,an E type Jag,
+ lots of other stuff.

Where do you stand with this project? Have you located a manifold yet?

Paul
Nothing firm yet! One offer for a later manifold with plugged air ports. But I am still looking for a match for 1974.
I contacted British Auto Sports in Oregon, the have another 1975 manifold but same issue with the air ports.
I may have to go that route. I have another person to call on Monday.
You are possibly getting your engine tomorrow?
I have kept on working on other parts of the project.
I got my samples from TRF today for nylon carpet and vinyl in shadow blue. Pretty nice, I am impressed.
Thanks for asking.

I'm hoping that the snow here will not delay it's arrival. I'll let you know when I get any info on the delivery.

I would be inline for the dumb sh** award. Earlier this summer I had a car back out in front of me and I had to come down on the breaks really hard. For some reason after that the left rear didn't release all the way so I was going to pull the wheel and drum and see what I could do about it. The drum comes off much easier if the E brake isn't set.)Dumb sh**
