General TR Tom McCahill tests the TR2

Nice pictures. This new project I got came with that socketset shown on the last page. Very synchronistic, I was thinking about where itcame from because the PO had it in with the tool set like it came with the car —cool.
 
The interesting thing about reading these articles is that for a time there after WWII, Britain really was the state of the art, top of the line, best bang for your buck performance cars you could buy in the early to mid fifties, not just handling, but speed as well, with the Jag XK120, the Healey 100, and the TR2. I didn't read the whole test, but I know one of the TR2 road tests stated it could outdrag any American car to 60.
