I always enjoyed the Car Talk program and especially when they would talk about Tom's 1952 (IIRC) MG.
No matter how derogatory it got you could tell Tom loved that old car.
Tom passed away today at the age of 77, he will be missed.

Just found the page about his MG:

A true loss to public radio.

I felt like he and his brother were "family". Great, "old-tymey" humor.

The fact that he was an MG owner makes this even harder.

Weekly Podcast Downloads that are FREE hopefully will continue. They did more than 1400 shows over 35 years. I'll bet there are more than 1,000 I've never heard before. I should have realized they were recycling old shows when I heard both their Mom and Dad on shows recently. I know they both passed away a number of years ago. The humor even in the older shows is still funy, funny, funny.
