MGB Toe-in spec in degrees?

The specs I have found for MGB toe-in are 1/16 to 3/32 in (1.5 to 2.3 mm), which I believe is measured at the rim.

I have some good local shops that will do an alignment on an older car, but those machines all need the toe spec in degrees. Wondering if anyone has done that conversion and has the degree spec handy? I can do the math and figure it out, but don't always trust my geometry work as it's been a long time since I was in high school and had to solve a right triangle. 🤪
 
why wouldn't you do it yourself? Assuming that there isn't a camber adjustment (and even if there is) the string method works fine. He also a John Twist video

 
This method would work if two things are considered,
1, the bolts he is using to measure with sould have a nut to lock them in place.
2, due to the fact he is checking toe in he should have set his bolts on the rear of the wheel rim first. as this should be wider than the front.
then checked the front and measured the gap between bolt and rim with a pair of calipers. or a thick feeler gauge of 1/32
 
My concern is that using the wheel rim as a measuring point acts on the assumption that the rims are in fact 100% true. My experience (especially with MGB wire wheels) is that the wheel itself could have more than a 32nd or 16th of variance. Lug nut based steel wheels might be closer, or not depending on how well they have been treated.
 
I've tried the string method before, without much luck. My local shop can do it accurately and for not a lot of money, so that's the best answer for me. Just need to calculate the spec for them.
