Greetings to all:

In this neck of the woods it's going to be near 70 degress today. A drive or two (or three) is definitely in order.

I hope many of you have the same opportunity.

Gorgeous day here in Middle Tennessee, but I have a funeral to do this afternoon. May have to take a short ride after...
 
Turned into slush, its a gooey mess!

dont plan on driving for another 2 months,(((((MAYBE!)))))

I hate the winter!
 
Good on ya, Dave !! That's the spirit! Drive!!

A blustery, winter day here on the island as well.
Not a single sport fishing boat to be seen today on
wild wave waters, as me and the Mrs put Amos thru
an afternoon workout.

Lunch-good Mexican grub at Taco Poncho, drove down the
coastal road past the biker bar (engine died only once),
over to Dorado, down the expressway, ran a few errands
(Amos a daily driver?)and made it home without breaking
down.

All in all; a fine day for a drive in the Old Car.
Salmon and shrimp cooked in mango curry for dinner tonight.

Funny what you want from a vacation when you live on a tropical island. Must be all that heat - it addles your brains.

I guess that's what you dream about when the only ice you see is inside a fruity rum drink...

We're over 120" of the white stuff so far this season. And that doesn't count the 7" that's still falling from the sky right now.


... and mango curry salmon sounds really good!
 
We made a short visit to Orlando for a Friday/Saturday diversion. Wander'd around Universal Studios parks for most of yesterday and did the bars and restaurants after dark. Bit chilly Friday, rode "The Hulk" thingie and several "movie" themed rides, had to wear a windbreaker. All the Touristas were in shorts and t-shirts. They seemed to think Florida winter weather was warm. feh. I'll take the 90*F summers anytime.

Had a nice long drive this afternoon. Only about 45 miles North of Dave and played in the foothills all afternoon. Along with about every road bicyclist and motorcyclist in the county it seemed.

What Dave didn't tell you is that tomorrow is supposed to have a high below 40 with a very high chance of snow. So winters not over for us yet in Northern Colorado. :frown:

Got about 30 miles using the ole "gonna make quick trip to the grocery store" bit... I think my wife knows better by now. :angel:

It was in the low 60s today, 60's tomorrow and near 70 on Monday. Three days of good drivin!
 
Pushed the engine around the garage on its new engine stand....does that count? Also pushed about 2" of slush around the driveway. It was so wet I couldn't even use the snowblower. Anyway...this is the month to pull all the winter projects together to get back on the road in March. You can see all the work behind the 60th birthday link at my site.
 
I also took a turned a 5 minute trip to grocery store into a 1 hour trip. I paid for it when I got home, but it was worth it. You just don't get many seventy degre days in St. Louis this time of year.
 
48F in S.E. PA today so we went out in the TR for an hour or so. Top down (of course) and we were warmer than the car. I couldn't get it anywhere near normal operating temp, so there was a lot of choke work at stop signs etc. Loved every minute of it.
 
40 here.
Nice inside the car - even with the top down.
Don't have a choke any more, so it was great fun...
