Off to Tonys and the paint shop on the 6th of Feb.

Now have:

295 head.

HS2 carbs, etc.

1275 exhaust manifold.

Front roll bar.

Need:

Dizzy rebuilt.

Rockers rebuilt.

New pushrods.

Cam.

Love it as a plan comes together.

Everyone needs a plan and something to work towards. Goal is next fall, maybe Oct or Nov. But then time is not of the essence.

Good plan, Jack. Ms Agatha is going to vroom right along.

Here's my plan:

* 1275 and carbs currently under the care of Hap

* Front suspension/calipers/shocks currently with PeterC for rebuilding

* All new brake lines ready to go, still need flex lines and a few misc bits.

* Need to call on dizzy rebuilding

* Need to call APT on manifold/exhaust

* Need to source fuel tank, lines, pump

* Needs to get warmer /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

All my funding is in place, now I just need time, space, and motivation. Early June is our local British Field Day (all Brit car/bike show), and that's my target. Come to think of it, I'd better get going or Jack's plan will be finished before mine is!

My plan:

+10CC engine in machine shop for evaluation (with its 12G295 head!)
+Carbs at Hap's for rebuild
+New 1275 exhaust system on way from Moss
+Ribcase trans rebuild parts in & ready to take trans to friend for complete rebuild
+Sway bar laying on shelf
+Front suspension & all 4 shocks at PeterC's for rebuild/replace
+Gas tank & radiator back from shop
+All new brake rebuild parts ordered
...actually, every drivetrain part that can be replaced or rebuilt is either being replaced/rebuilt or the parts to do so are on the way

+Body in body shop - hopefully finished before Jack gets here!

"Jack, are you going with offset rocker arm bushings?
They're cheap at APT and add lift for better power. On a basically stock setup they are certainly good for more power."

Guess I need to read some more Vizard, missed that.

How about a link for APT.

Oh man, could I spend a grand there quickly. Err, make that three grand.

Jack
It is frightening and my motor is only 20 min away from APT /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek.gif
Here my plan for today.
My brother down in So Cal called today: The motor needs
1. +40 pistons & rings
2. +.020 main and rod bearings
3. New valves and springs and guides
4. New timing chain and recommends new oil pump

Since I do not need a hot rod, just a nice stock motor. What would you recommend for internal components.

I'm blasting the rust off the B/E internals and prepping them for paint
Paul
