Painted top bow a nice gray.

Disasembled moris engine to retreave parts, like timeing chain cover that I needed.

Engine is now in back of pickup going to shop to have the front bolt heated and removed. The inside is all rust, wow, must have sat outside for quite a while but did the job, had the parts I needed.

Took springs to shop to have a couple of U shaped things fabed so I can reasemble. Located steel rivits needed for reasembly, Internet.

Advised that gas tank was boiled, coated inside and pressure tested. Crosses off fuel tank.

Not a bad day at all.

Whats left here:

Reassemble springs
Clean and paint seat frames
Clean and paint stearing rack

Send Chrome plateing
Send Anodizing
Send spendles for rebuild
Send master cyl for rebuild
Send carbs for rebuild, etc
Blast and paint car
Parts parts and more new parts
Assemble all

I think the slow part is just around the corner, waiting for things to be done by other folks and waiting till budget allows for each of the above.

Oh well, that's the way these things go but significant progress has been made since Feb this year and all in all I am pleased and wife is still talking to me.
Going to get too hot here to do a lot of work outside in any case untill fall, maybe another month of nice weather.

Jack

sounds great.

I used the carbon graphite while I assembled my springs (via forum info) a little goes a long way.

Also enjoy the down time, because you are heading into the volcano when everything comes back.

Sent Anodizing, I am jealous.

Most of all GREAT WIFE!!!, she won me over at the "cave" comment.

Not sent, send, to do yet, expensive, maybe 700 bucks

Sorry for my english Jack

I must have been sleeping or day dreaming during that lesson.

Could have been a beautiful girl or my LBC (it was a 71 midget back then). hmmm, I hope it was the girl ot I was just as sick back then.

At this rate, you might beat jaybirds record for finishing it off.
