Today, I purchased 9 lawnmowers, a chainsaw, a power sander, and a 15 gallon air compressor for the measly sum of $100. There's a guy on my route who buys white goods from Home Depot. Most of his stuff is junk and unfixable, but he does have several really nice stainless steel microwaves that the only thing wrong with is the box is messed up on. Anyway, he is going out of business and was going to sell it all for scrap. I wanted some of the more choice pieces and paid him what he paid for them. I have already gotten 2 mowers virtually new mowers running again and got the compressor running also, though it needs a little more work. The chainsaw has a busted chain lock bar, but other than that looks like it was used once or twice. OH I almost forgot. He had 3 Honda powered power washers too. I got 1 and I believe I'm going for the other 2. $20 per. I am sooooooooo stoked.

Good deals...are you planning on setting up shop?

You know......even though I don't actually *need* 9 lawnmowers, I too am envious!

It's a good job I don't own a junkyard....I'd never sell anything.

Excellent, now just what do you charge for shipping one of them power washers over to Houston? I have green things growing where they are not supposed to be!

I've got a deal with a local pawn shop. I tell him what I want, he marks it up a few dollars and sells the stuff. Already sold 7 or 8 mowers this year. THIS is my LBC money. Randy, I would gladly send you a washer, as soon as I get one running. :wall:
