To tonneau or not?

FWIW, the MGB tonneau I got Dad last year didn't have any snaps installed either. Which is why it does not fit correctly left to right. Got it from Moss. Other than installer-induced problems, it's a nice piece of kit.

Tony gave me mine!! I have no idea what brand it is, but somebody said it was for a early '70's car!! It sure works for me and the price was right!!

Tony, sorry about the mis info on the type of car. I guess this just points out another difference between the MGB and the Midget. No long bar. Thanks anyway

jerry - probably my fault - I just 'ass-u-med' you were talking about MGB...however, had I really read where you said 'lift the dot' I should've known Midget....none of my Midgets have tonneau bars.

Actually I was referring to a Sprite with my tonneau problems...

I have those turn-buckle fasteners and I actually considered using them, now i think I will definetely try tem.

Jeff....Midgets used 'lift-the-dots' in the years when they started going away from Sprites...however, my '63 MG Midget (Spridget) has the turny things!

Ed...now I know what those 3 strange little bars are! I have 1 set that is with my '63 Midget....just thought it was something that goes with my packaway top which I never put up since I can't get in a Midget with the top up!...time to collect all 3 type sets...do you have any photos?
