Howdy all!

A couple of friends and I have been toying with the idea of an informal confederation (note that I avoided the term "club") of folks with LBCs who might want to gather on a regular basis, something akin to the famed cars and coffee gatherings in California. We'd set a place (say a local starbucks parking lot) and say that anyone who can make it will show up every second Saturday morning. That kind of thing. Most of us are in the Bethesda-Chevy Chase-Upper Northwest DC area, but that, of course, is not crucial.

If you are interested in such a multi-mark gathering, please feel free to contact me here or at wsteinman@pogolaw.com, and if you know of others who might be interested, have them contact me as well and I'll put together a master list.

Thanks and Happy Motoring!

Bill, will forward this to my bro-in-law in Poolesvile

LBCs only, or other "interesting" cars also? I'd be interested either way.

We'd probably be interested, I'm always fascinated by Cliff's pictures that he posts. If you opened it up to non-LBCs, it would probably have more "lasting" power, because it broadens the pool of potential attendees. On the other hand, there's the fun of a "just LBC" type of gathering, too. Maybe you could move the meeting place every couple of times, to broaden the area of interest, but then it also is nice to have one fixed spot, to build some continuity in the event. Whatever you decide, keep us informed!

I avoid the DC area like the plague, but if you decide to come out towards central Maryland I'm interested!

Where is central Md?

Somewhere east of Hancock and west of Baltimore.

I'll send up a flare.

I'm in Maryland, north of Brazil and west of Denmark.

Awww, come on. Our Nation's Capital is a beautiful city! I'm enjoying a beautiful sunny day in leafy quiet Upper Northwest DC as I write.
