Best of luck don.

In the same boat witch yu. Not my house, but a piece of land (1.7 acres) with a house. Wonder which one of us will sell first?

About to do it with the Family Stomping Grounds... Anyone ~need~ a place close to the former BeaveRun track? Two-stall detached, two bedroom, one bath. CB house, frame garage. Much history and a 20 minute commute to the PGH airport.

Mansour is Persian. Got a buddy whose last name is. And he is...or at least his folks are.

Good luck to both of you. Selling property is one of my least favorite things to do. Hope it goes well for you.

Best of luck. This is a very stressful time. My advice which you didn't ask for is to simply pretend your home isn't for sale and go about your usual business.

Jay, I knew that didn't look right ,thanks

Worse thing about it is I am losing my best friend this week end.
She and my son leave for the new digs on Sat.
My Daughter follows to school in 2 1/2 weeks .
Then it will just the dog and me

Actually, our moving plans are sorta in limbo at the moment now that the wife's preggo.

Don:

That's a nice house. Interesting to look at houses in other areas. Your's is about the same size as our's (not including our basement) and on similar-size lot. Our's is about ten years older. We have 3 car garage, fourth bedroom and finished basement. Your price is about 60K more than our's would bring, but our taxes are almost three times your's.

When we go off to races in NH, WV or western PA, we see new houses as big as our's on 5 acres, for about 1/3 the price and taxes under 2K.

Like I say, it's always interesting and fun to compare. Where are you moving to?

Maybe in western PA Nial... here in central PA my taxes are more than Don's for the about the same sq. footage.

Come up here to King City, 1200sq ft bungalow 1.3 acres, no garage,no town water or sewers, Property assessed at $436000. property taxes are $4,412/year.

And then there are some of us who live in lesser neighborhoods....
I will never be able to afford dream houses like that - count your-
blessings that you can.

Jody, 5 car heated garage!

Yep, but it's just a wee bit outside of our price range. Plus, a house as beautiful as that, I wouldn't have any projects to do on it.
