I'm needing to out tires on my 66 Sprite and really no one around here can help me out for a wider tire. I belive I have 145 r13's on there now, don't want to go to the garage right now. Thanks for the help everyone. =Chris

The popular replacement is 155/80r13. Fit well on steel or wires. Just got my second set. The next fav is 175/70r13 fo aftermarket wheels. You have steel wheels or wires?

Chris your car is what is known as a square wheel arch and you can probably get by with the 175 wide tire if you have 4" rims but that is the limit and you may experience rubbing with them. Best to stick to the 155/80 13. Unfortunatly the tires for 13" wheels is becoming quite limited.
